Kevin Kline from 93Q (KKBQ-FM Houston) and ”The New Q Morning Zoo” shares his story about what motivated him to run, run, run for Strides Across Texas and Snowdrop Foundation benefitting Texas Children’s Cancer Center. Yanez and I are playing in a golf tournament Monday to help spread the word about Snowdrop.  The Galleria Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the tourney at Sweetwater Country Club Monday November 1st at 11:30am.

Really?  Shoes? 

British designer Alexander McQueen dreamed up these stilts.  He didn’t walk in them, instead these poor models in Paris had to give in a go.  By the way, these crystal-studded boots give you a 12-inch elevation. The platform shoes were part of a collection inspired by Charles Darwin’s The Origin Of The Species.

The Lingerie Football League.  Seriously.  Tagline: True Fantasy Football.  They’ve got 10 teams now and we’ve learned one is coming to Houston next year.  They don’t have a name yet, but they want ideas.

Levi Johnston, Bristol Palin’s baby daddy is taking it all off for Playgirl Magazine.  Begging the question, what is Playgirl thinking?  His “rep” says they haven’t worked out all the details yet but he will be in the magazine soon.  US Weekly is reporting the magazine will be out by the end of the year.  He’s currently unemployed so he has plenty of time to work out 6 nights a week to “buff” up for the photo shoot.  He’s working out with a trainer for 3 hours a day! 

Another news organization today reported Levi getting naked for Playgirl could look bad for Sarah Palin’s reported run for The White House in 2012.  Really?  A candidate’s daughter’s choice in boyfriends when she’s in high school affects a presidential campaign?  Glad my mother never ran for anything!  I dare say his pictorial in a magazine that no one reads in 2009 will be remembered in 2012…other than for a good water cooler laugh.
