How Bad Is It in Georgia?

…depends on who you are.  The Russians have reportedly dropped bombs on civilians.  The Georgians were accused of killing Russian peacekeepers in South Ossetia, a Georgian province that’s been trying to offically gain independence from Georgia since the fall of the USSR.  And then there are the militiamen.  Who knows where they’re from or who they’re targeting.  In a war zone, Western journalists typically maintain a homebase in a “safe city” and venture out for field reports.  Local reporters are gutsier.  And here are two examples of how they can get caught in the crossfire.  One female reporter gets hit with a sniper’s bullet on a live shot.  And a TV has to run for their lives when their truck is lit up with bullets.
