It’s a New Year’s Mystery!

“When Daniel Corban’s wife goes missing, he naturally calls in the police, but opens the door to a woman who claims to be his missing wife.  How can he convince the police that his wife is missing, when everyone acquainted with her agrees this woman is indeed Elizabeth Corban?”  The story is called “Catch Me if You Can,” written by Robert Thomas.  David Hymel directs this little masterpiece for Upstage Theatre at Lambert Hall in the Heights.  The play opens this weekend January 2nd and runs through January 10th.  See you there opening night!

By the way — If you haven’t been to Lambert Hall, it’s a cozy, quaint, old-school theatre.  Very charming.  It’s also home to Opera in the Heights. (1703 Heights Blvd.
Houston, 77008)

As you’ve heard me say, community theatre doesn’t get the respect or the press as the big commercial folks.  We’re trying to change that by helping out the smaller groups that work so hard to bring the arts to our community.
