GO RED FOR WOMEN CASTING CALL

Macy’s Galleria, Friday, Feb. 6, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The American Heart Association’s campaign, Go Red For Women, is having its second annual nationwide casting call, which will kick off on National Wear Red Day, Feb. 6, 2009. We want to hear compelling stories of choice and will select women who can help ignite action and inspire others. All Houston-area women are invited to share their story for a chance to become a national spokeswoman for the cause – representing Go Red For Women on our Web site, in our marketing materials, at events and possibly in our upcoming NBC network television.

In honor of American Heart Month and National Wear Red Day on Feb. 6, Macy’s will celebrate with weekend-long savings (Feb. 4-8) for those who wear red or purchase a Go Red For Women Red Dress pin for $2. All pin proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement and customers will get 20 percent off a broad selection of merchandise throughout the store. Macy’s is a national sponsor of Go Red For Women, helping to raise more than $18 million for the cause since 2004.
