A Stormy Day for Air France Flight 447

A National Geographic article describes the crash zone as a breeding ground for storms.  It’s an intense, unpredictable place miles in the sky.  The name alone is intimidating: The Intertropical Convergence Zone.  Sounds like the setting for a Hollywood action/drama flick.  Sadly, it was the setting for real human tragedy.  And it looks like we can forget a lot of detailed answers about what happened.  Did the weather do it?  It definitely didn’t help.  Let’s just hope we learn something from this, and that the victims’ families find peace.
