“Our Underwater Ally”

Last week, Japanese scientists “explaced”…   placed explosive detonators at the bottom of Lake Loch Ness…to blow Nessie out of the water.

Sir Curt Godfrey of the Nessie Alliance…summoned the help of Scotland’s local wizards to cast a protective spell over the lake  and its local residents and all those who seek for the peaceful existence of our underwater ally.”

If you recognize this hilarious speech given by Napoleon in the cult classic Napoleon Dynamite, you might be curious about the latest search for “our underwater ally.”

Our friends at The Daily Mail have an article today about a scientist who pays a museum in England to be on standby, ready to display Nessie.  If she is ever found, she’ll have a home at the Natural History Museum based in London.  The scientist has reportedly paid  roughly $36,000  since 1987 to make sure the mythical creature has a home.  By the way this deal also includes the Yeti, also known as the “Abominable Snowman.’
